So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, ‘Moses, Moses!’ And he said, ‘Here I am’. Exodus 3:4

The cycle of a move of God always begins when someone touches God and a wave of His Spirit’s moving is released. To truly touch God is not something that can be imparted to us by the prayer of another person. It is a lonely place, without human mediation, except for the mediation of the glorified humanity of Jesus Christ. To receive fresh moves of God, we must withdraw to find that touch. For this we must be deeply persuaded that God is able and wants to refresh our lives. We must yield all directly to Him. Nothing else will satisfy either God or us. True baptism with the Spirit is not a passing excitement, but a deep wave from Almighty God that carries us to the shores of His eternal kingdom. We must not look over our shoulders to see who is following, but we must fix our eyes on God and follow Him with undivided gaze and undiluted faith.
